INVITATION

Our world is compound of several apparently isolated perspectives that think, feel and live in different manners according to our realities. This compositions of perspectives around the world have the capacity of unite and share their essence. With this we transforme ideas into new escenaries and interpretations of the world.


The 1st Encounter of Good Living propose to unite apparently isolated perspectives to create a stage in which we will be able to analize the world not only with our personal experience but with the experience of others around us. This give us the opportunity to understand and think life from different perspectives, enriching our selves and how we see life. Comprehend what the other live will  generate on us the posibility to think new forms of social interaction, we will feel and see that another world is possible.


The central compounds of the Encounter of Good Living are social fundations of international movements, are the ideas that are drown, that live and experiment on the daily basis of millions all around our globe. Therefore, the essense of the encounter is to think with the social movements as part of them, no matter where we are, not think about social movements as disconnected phenomenon some where over there. Moreover, we will be able to create thrugh real dialogue and participation a democratization of our knowledge. In this manner we will redefine our social coexistence.


Under this logic we make and invitation to all of you to analize the concrete conditions of autonomy struggle. Taking as an understanding basis the experiences of many people all over the world that fight for the respect of their territory, their natural resources and their culture. People that are constructing principles and self organizations. One of the main objectives is the delimitation of the State action, struggle against the destruction of the inter subjective relations generated inside communities and territories.


Mexico had in the 40´s one of the mayor development rates in the world. Today we live a chronic dependence situation. And indicators of our progress are more and more negative. We found a sad reality in which politicians and business men spend about 200 dollars a day in food and indigenous from several parts of the country organize collective suicides because there is no food.


This year in Mexico we have federal elections. Today´s administration and their security strategy has been responsible of the death of about 50 thousands people. We have to participate  by voting or not in this elections. What I mean is that democracy and public participation goes beyond just one day of voting. It means to commit our selves to actively participate in the development of our consciousnesses first and then of our country future.


Power, the State, Coloniality, Violence and Autonomy are the topics of our encounter because we consider central points to understand the political reality of our country and of all the struggles in the world for better living conditions. This is our chance to dialogue, explore and understand, on a plural and horizontal basis, the dreams and prospects of millions who are just like us wanting a better world.
